NC code simulation

 

The real NC code simulation of OPUS is doinf simulation in another way like the source code simulation.

Here the real NC code of the NC program will be scanned, analized ond converted into toolpathes, so a similar concept of the NC controls.

As a matter of principle all common NC controls can be supported. Even the structure of the NC program can be variabel.

Own variables/parameters can be used, although own cycles, different subprogram techniques, loops, etc. can be simulated.

The result is a nearly one hundred percentmachine-oriented simulation of your NC program.

It doesn't matter where you get the NC program from. Either it can be a NC program which was created in OPUS, so a program converted by a postprocessor, or a hand-written NC program or a NC program which has been programmed at the machine.

As well as the pure source code simulation the real NC code simulation can be used with or without a machine or  cinematic model. The optimum is for sure the use of a machining model to get the most realistic representation of your toolpathes in your machining environment.
